In the First Division Cup a thrilling end to end encounter excellently refereed by Mel Perry between Willenhall Youth and F.C. Soccer Lions saw Willenhall opened the scoring through James and extend their lead through a well struck free kick from Hall. The Lions were back on level terms early in the second half after a quick double strike from Hammonds but with extra time looming James netted his second to win the tie for Willenhall. An equally close and exciting contest between Bustleholme Jets and Finchfield went to extra time before the Jets progressed to the next round. | Coseley Cobras had to rely on extra time to overcome Tettenhall Wood in the Premier Division Cup thanks to goals from C Rogers, K Hill, G Bowerman with K Beckett netting both goals in reply while there was another hard fought battle as Tipton Town entertain Swinmoor Rangers for there second encounter of the season. Swinmoor were first on the score sheet mid way through the first half through Adam Nicklin, with Tipton replying about 10 minutes later through Dawa Rodney. Swinmoor had a shot but hit the top of the bar and from another shot the Tipton keeper made a fine save to keep the score level at half time. Swinmoor came out for the second half with all guns blazing, taking the lead with a brilliant header from Liam Nicklin. | In the Wednesbury Junior Cup an end to end battle saw First Division Willenhall Youth record an excellent extra time victory over premier division Castle Youth with goals from McCarthy, Simpson, Dowen and James with Jones, with a brace and Foster replying while it took extra time to separate first division rivals Warstones Wanderers and Darlaston Town with Darlaston going through with a 3-2 victory. It seemed as if premiership Tipton Town had the an added advantage when the visited first division Bustleholme Jets as the Jets only had 10 players & one of those was on the side lines carrying an injury. Both teams started well, with attacks in either direction. Tipton were first on the score sheet with a goal from Tom Tinsley, adding a second minutes later. Paul Gibbs put the ball away for Tipton's third goal and the Jets replied through Luke Benbow just before the half time whistle. The play was much the same for the second half with shots from both sides only missing the target and then Bustleholme broke away and reduced the deficit when Benbow netted his second. Tipton started on top with the majority of the play, creating a number of chances which they couldn't convert as the Tettenhall defence held firm. Five minutes before the break Tettenhall broke out of defence and took the leaf through James Becks. Fifteen minutes into the second half Tettenhall extended their lead through Kieron Beckett. This two goal cushion gave Tettenhall extra confidence and they started to play a much stronger game, giving Tipton a run for their money. They are joined in the next round by New Park Village enjoy a successful trip to Hednesford United with Nathan Clarke bagging the all important goal. In the Premier Division Coseley Cobras picked up their first league win of the season at Tipton Town courtesy of a brace each from Kyle Hill and Craig Roberts. After an evenly matched opening session Coseley took the lead just before the break. Coseley came out with all guns blazing for the second half and extended their lead with a couple of minutes. Through out the rest of the game, Coseley were the stronger team, eager to play and record their first victory. Although Tipton were out played, Coseley didn't get a clean break through until the last 10 minutes when netted twice more. While it was a very successful afternoon for the league’s representatives in the B'ham County F.A. Minor Cup and leading the way were second division Brunswick Harriers who overcame Black Country Rangers with goals from Ben Jukes, Liam Wall, Adam Love and Luke Heappey while goals from Shaun Barker, Bobby Ratcliffe, Steve Cliffe and Martin Hill helped first division Colwell Hawks beat Kewford Eagles and a brace from Lee Merrick and a goal from Sam Richards helped Swinmoor Rangers beat Pensnett Panthers. | Swinmoor Rangers progressed to the last eight in the prestigious Birmingham F.A. Minor Cup with a comfortable victory over Perrywoods United courtesy of a brace from R Golding and goals from A Nicklin, M Edwards, D Turley and J Pedley. In the First Division a hat trick from A Emery helped bottom placed Enville Athletic pick up their first league victory of the season with an excellent performance at second placed Wyrley Juniors with T Clift and K Parsley on target for the hosts while a good all round first half performance saw Willenhall Youth take a 2-0 lead into the break against a very strong Darlaston outfit. | Colwell Hawks will meet Parkes Hall Lions in the final of the First Division Cup after a Bobby Ratcliffe hat trick and a strike from Ryan Woodhouse helped the Hawks beat Darlaston Colts with Matthew Beasley and Adam Lewis on target for the Colts. It was a very close encounter in the Premier Division when leaders Swinmoor Rangers entertained New Park Village. Swinmoor started the strongest hitting the post very early on, however, New Park rallied and the game was very even. New Park took the lead through a close range header from Shalanda Herrington. Swinmoor had a goal disallowed for handball before equalising just before half time through a Sam Merrick goal. The second half was a very even game, New Park had a goal disallowed following a challenge on the Swinmoor keeper and James Reynolds kept it even with a fine save from a long rage Swinmoor shot. Just when the game looked like being a draw, Swinmoor snatched the winner through Sam Richards from a corner deep into stoppage time. | The delayed Birmingham County Cup fourth round tie between first division Colwell Hawks and premier ship Tipton Town finally got underway and it was Tipton who took control after only 10 mins with a goal from Chris Turner, who got his second 6 mins later. Paul Gibbs then got hold of the ball & scored a hat trick with goals coming at 20, 22 & 25 mins. Tipton were 5:0 up after only 25 mins of play. Colwell were batting hard, but nothing was going their way. Tipton again went for goal only to see it hit the post but from the rebound Dan Hall put in his first & Tipton’s 6th goal just before the break. The second half saw Colwell come out with more determination & they started to play some better football forcing the Tipton keeper to make 3 or 4 good saves to keep a clean sheet. Tipton again attacked the Colwell defence; there was some confusion in the Colwell goal area which led to Tipton’s 7th goal claimed by Alex Bowen at 68 mins. | The only game to beat the weather was the Birmingham County Cup fifth round tie between Trysull Tigers and Tipton Town and an excellent game ensued despite the conditions but the tie was effectively decided in the fourth minute when a Trysull free kick found its way into the Tipton net courtesy of a wicked deflection off a Tipton defender. Tipton, kick into the sun in the first half tried valiantly to get themselves back into the game but the Trysull defence held firm and at the other end of the pitch the Tipton defence held the Trysull strikers at bay. | ||||

| An evenly match contest saw Brunswick Harriers lift the Second Division Cup with a single goal victory over F.C. Perton Pumas at Bilston Town on Thursday evening while on Sunday F.C. Strollers booked their place in the final of the Premier Division Cup with a penalty shoot out victory at Bilbrook Juniors. In the Premier Division Charity Cup a brace from Matthew Couchman and goals from Chris Aston and Mitchell Berridge helped Bustleholme Panthers beat Cougar Juniors with Jordon Roberts and Tom Lynn replying while for the first 20 minutes, New Park Village were in control of their tie against Tipton Town and scored their first goal. Tipton came back into the game netting an equalizer 15mins later. Tipton came out the stronger in the second half, battling for every ball but with both defences on top it looked as if the tie was going to extra time, when Tipton put the ball in the net with 2mins to the whistle. | Mid week action saw Colwell Hawks lift the First Division Cup with a 4-2 victory over a spirited Parkes Hall Lions while on Sunday Willenhall Youth beat Warstones Wanderers to book their place in the First Division Charity Cup final. Willenhall opened the lead within 15 seconds with a goal from Luke Picken and then extended their lead through Scott Simpson with a 25yard volley. Willenhall made in three when keeper Scott Purchase’s up field punt found the net to emulate Spurs keeper Paul Robinson. | The delayed Wednesbury Junior Cup quarter final tie between premiership outfit Tipton Town and First Division Willenhall Youth was an exciting hard fought battle. The first twenty minutes saw end to end football with both defences on top before Willenhall were awarded a penalty but Scott Simpson’s strike was well saved by Brad Timmins in the Tipton goal. The rest of the half saw plenty of chances for both sides but neither side were able to take the advantage. The Second half continue where the first had left off with both teams battling but it was Tipton who took their chance and put the ball way with a strike from Dawa Rodney after about 15mins of play.
