Under 11s – The final destination of the
Premiership trophy was resolved when New Park Village won there final game of
the season, beating Warley Vipers 4-2 to clinch top spot by just one point from
Coven United. Penn Rovers miss out on the silverware by the narrowest of
margins, just one goal while Willenhall Town’s narrow defeat at Tipton Olympic
consigns them to fourth spot. Sayers bagged at hat trick for Tipton with Handley
also on the score sheet while Freeman, with a brace and Edmondson-Griffiths
were on target for Willenhall.
Under 12s – Mid week action saw New Park Village confirmed as Premiership runners up
with a narrow 3-2 victory over F.C. Strollers while Bentley Youth booked their
place in the Second Division Spring Shield Final with a hat trick from Haywood and
a strike from Gallagher helping them beat Warley Vipers with James and Mckeon
netting for the Vipers. A busy week for Bentley also saw them best Tipton Town
to book their place in the Group C Merit Shield Final with Haywood netting the
all important goal. The will meet First Division Perton and Codsall United in
the final after United beat Bentley on Sunday with Pugh netting the only goal
of the game. Warstones Wanderers (South) bagged their place in the Group E
Merit Shield Final with a mid week victory over F.C Wednesbury courtesy of
goals from Cox and Harper. They will face Warley Vipers in the final, who beat
F.C. Wednesbury on Sunday with a brace from James and a strike from Davis. F.C.
Strollers beat Hill Top Rangers to book their place in the Group A final while
the Group B final will involve Darlaston Town and F.C. Perton after a brace
from Springthorpe and a goal from Pung helped Perton beat group leaders
Darlaston to pip Beechdale Swifts for the place in the final. McElligott was
again on the score sheet for Darlaston while a brace from Duckham and goals
from Graham, Parsons, Davies and Randall helped Willenhall Town Swifts beat Parkfields
Dragons with Priest replying. In the First Division Phoenix rounded off their
season with a victory over Coven United with a brace from Smith and a strike
from Jones with Riley and Raynor on target for the visitors.
Under 13s – The Jenny Chapman Cup final at
Willenhall Town’s Noose Lane ground saw a nail biting contest between Villiers
Tigers and Beechdale Swifts with the Tigers lifting the trophy with an extra
time 3-2 victory. This was preceded by an equally close contest for the First
Division Charity which saw CD Rangers beat Tipton Olympic 5-4 to lift the
trophy. While this was taking place Danesmore Diamonds and Park Hill Boys were
contesting the Second Division Charity Cup final at Bilston Town’s ground.
Danesmore raced to a 3-0 lead but a second half fight back from Park Hill saw
them reduce the deficit and only resolute defending from the Diamonds defence
stopped Park Hill snatching a last gasp equaliser. Mid week cup action saw
Windsor book their place in the Premier Division Charity Cup final with a
narrow 3-2 victory over Beechdale Swifts while a mid week hat trick from Turner
and a strike from Lewis helped Villiers Tigers beat Wolverhampton DBC to edge
closer to the premiership championship while on Sunday Carlisle Swifts beat
Windsor 4-0. In the First Division mid week action saw Bentley Youth beat
Featherstone 5-0 while Wednesbury Inter and Warstones shared the spoils with
Burke on target for Inter with Brown netting for Warstones while on Sunday
Springvale beat Wednesbury Inter 4-1.
Under 14s – Wall Heath Alliance went goal crazy
to keep their faint hopes of premiership silverware alive following up on their
8-2 mid week victory over Moxley Rangers with an excellent 6-1 victory at
premiership leaders Castle Rangers with a brace from Pearsall and goals from
Nicholls, Humphrey, Guest and Ball while championship rivals Tipton Town
enjoyed a narrow victory at Warley Vipers with Chambers bagging the
all-important goal. Elsewhere Wolverhampton DBC beat Warstones 2-1 while five
goals from Smith, Four from Dicken and one each from Hayward and Peddie helped
Wodensfield beat Moxley with Cook replying. Mid week action in the First
Division saw Willenhall Town beat Bentley Youth with goals from Read, Mohan and
Moss while a brace from Thomas helped Windsor beat league champions elect Lyng
Falcons. Windsor and Bentley shared the spoils in an eight goal thriller with Pennington,
with a brace, Thomas and Gibbons netting for Windsor. While on Sunday Aston
bagged the only goal of the game as Willenhall beat Windsor while a brace from Cooper
and goals from Dudgeon and White helped Penn Rovers beat Bentley Youth. Mid
week action in the Second Division saw runners up Wednesbury Town beat
Darlaston with goals from Ralley and Attwood while on they rounded off their
league campaign on Sunday with a victory over Punjab United with goals from Ralley,
Attwood and Jones with Gill replying for the hosts.
Under 15s – Willenhall Town played host to two
excellent finals. A close contest in the First Division Charity Cup Final saw
Tettenhall Wood lift the trophy with a narrow 2-1 victory over F.C. Soccer
Lions while in the Second Division Charity Cup F.C. Perton Pumas beat Coopers
Casuals 2-0. In the Premier Division a hat trick from Nicklin, a brace each
from Golding and Cooper and goals from Smith and Merrick saw Swinmoor Rangers
confirmed as champions with a victory at Deansfield with Mowbray replying.
Midweek action saw Bustleholme Panther and Coseley Cobras share the points with
Hamilton and Ward on target for the Panthers and Hill and Woodall for the
Cobras. On Sunday the Cobras kept their push for second place alive with a
victory at Parkes Hall Lions with a brace each from Bowerman and Halford and a
strike from Rodgers while rivals Tipton Town and Cougars shared the points in a
goalless draw. With FC Strollers confirmed as champions the battle in the First
Division is between Tettenhall Wood and First XI Phantoms for second place and
when these two teams came head to head in mid week it was First XI who emerged
as 2-1 winners but bounced back to beat Hill Top with a hat trick from McFarlane,
a brace each Pugh and Clarke and a goal from Plastdir with Jukes and Price
replying for the hosts.
Under 16s – Another close contest at Bilston
Town saw Ashbourne Raiders lift the Second Division Charity Cup with a narrow
2-0 victory over Wyrley Juniors. In the premier division Market Boys edged
closer to the championship with a 6-3 victory over rivals Featherstone while
Sedgley Town kept their silverware hopes alive with a victory over Wednesfield
Town with goals from Smith, Allford, Jack Kelly and Rob Kelly. In the First
Division Sedgley Town (North) are ending their season on a high, a brace from Smith
and goals from Weston, Aston and Turner helped them to a mid week victory over
Prestwood Rangers with Smith, Davies and Brown on target for Prestwood while on
Sunday goals from Miles, Shinton, Smith, Weston and Ashwin helped Sedgley beat
Warstones. Prestwood bounced back from their mid week disappointment to beat Himley
Harriers with a brace from Brown and goals from Crystal, Smith and Christie
with Cuthbertson, Bratch and Lane on target for Himley. Midweek action saw
second placed Black Country Rangers beat Pelsall Villa 2-1 while Marchfields
and Himley share the points in a 1-1 draw while on Sunday goals from Stevenson
and Lavender helped Marchfields draw with Pelsall with Storer and Brown netting
for the visitors. In the Second Division a brace each from Randell, Davies and Coin
and goals from Kelly and Mansfield helped Wyrley Juniors beat Newtown Athletic.
Under 17s – The Premier Division Charity Cup
final at Bilston Town was a rerun of the Eric Saunders Cup Final and proved to
be an equally close contest between Tipton Town and Millfields with Tipton
avenging their earlier cup final defeat with a narrow 2-1 victory while in the
First Division Charity Cup Final it was Heath Town Rangers (East) who lifted
the trophy with a 2-0 victory over Wombourne Olympic. Midweek league action saw
Millfields edge close to the premiership title with a victory over East Park

Park while on Sunday a brace from Horton and goals from Patel and Harvey helped
Finchfield beat East Park with Barnes and Jones replying. In the First Division
Scriven bagged the only goal of the game as Wombourne beat Orton Vale while on
Sunday goals from Wigley and Vienas helped Coven United beat Orton Vale and
leaders Darlaston were held to a draw by Lodgefield Falcons with Canadine and Mason
netting for Darlaston and Lane and Davey for the Falcons.
