In recent weeks requests have been made of me to advertise small sided tournaments that various teams are organizing. Those who have asked already I'll post your adverts shortly. However I am considering an adverts page for tournaments, players, kit sale etc so I'll give details over the next week or so. |
| On Saturday 11th March in association
with Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Bilston Partnership Youth Football League
WDFC entertained the Under 12 and Under 16 teams of AFC Whitchurch Cardiff
together with parents and supporters for two friendly games which resulted
in a 4-2 defeat for the WDFC Under 12s and a 3-2 victory for the WDFC Under
16s team. During and after the matches a Bar B Q was available and penalty
and cross bar competitions available and the day was deemed a great success. AFC Whitchurch field more than fifteen teams from 8 up to 18 years of age in various South Wales Youth Leagues around Cardiff. . The visit was arranged at the request of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and in cooperation with their Championship opponents on the day, Cardiff City who nominated AFC Whitchurch to represent them. On leaving Four Ashes the Under 16 party moved on to Molineux as Wolves guests at the Wolves v Cardiff fixture. |
